It Won't Be Long

I never worked with Daniel Warth when we attended Sheridan film school together, but since then we've been working together on almost everything. In September 2008, we embarked on a series of weekly comedy shorts with The Wrong Box. Feeling the need for a departure from the super-short internet-comedy format, Daniel sat down and wrote his romantic frustrations into a short film. We put a crew together, and shot this over a couple of weekends.

Not only was this my biggest cinematography job so far, it was my first time shooting with a digital SLR. It served as an invaluable lesson to me. I learned a lot about consistency in lighting and working with a crew- and it got me excited about the future of tiny cameras. Very much looking forward to our next collaboration.
