Building a massive trainset in a few weeks doesn't leave a lot of time for second guessing. Luckily I was working with a small crew that were experts at making use of whatever was available. On one side of the room we had a piles of weird, old things that were donated by friends, and on the other were shelves of miniature sets and props from old stop-motion TV shows. Under the guide of Martin MacPherson, the two sides came together with grace and hot glue.
